Hello
We are members of the Fujinomiya High School Council, a group of high school students working to revitalize the community in Fujinomiya City, Japan.
Last year, we decided to speak out against the painful experiences of children, women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and other socially vulnerable people in war-torn countries around the world.
So, in collaboration with an art club made up of graduates of Shizuoka Prefectural Fuji Special Needs School, we created a Kids Guernica with the theme of “Gentle Mt. Fuji,” modeled after Mt. Fuji, a symbol of peace in Japan.
We are honored to learn that our Kids Guernica will be exhibited at the “World Peace Interfaith Gathering 2024” in New York.
Once again, we would like to raise our voices for world peace from New York.
We appeal for peace in the world
